Following the success of the (already sold-out) Come On Soul 45 release featuring two rare soul tracks by The Originals and Lindy Stevens here is the second 7inch vinyl release on the Légère Recordings label.
The Légère Funk 45 features two of the most respected up to date funk bands: The New Mastersounds and Gizelle Smith & The Mighty Mocambos.
Both tracks appear in the 45 format for the first time. While the NMS track “102%” is the killer tune from the album of the same name, the Mocambos’ “Hold Fast” from their acclaimed debut “This Is Gizelle Smith & The Mighty Mocambos” comes in a 7inch edit which you will only find on this format.
